Safe Water Garden Community Project

Indonesia is home to over 17,000 islands, each with its unique traditions and customs. With so much diversity, it’s no surprise that community service opportunities abound. From teaching English to school children in Bali to helping with conservation efforts in Sumatra, there’s no shortage of ways to give back.

We Provide students an enriching and meaningful way to explore Indonesia, a community service study tour might be just what you need. Not only will you get to experience the beauty and diversity of Indonesia’s culture, but you’ll also have the opportunity to make a positive impact on local communities.

 

What will you can

  • Create, act, serve and earn volunteer skills
  • Learn about sustainability and conservation through understanding the eco resort running system
  • Learn waste water management by creating a UNESCO approved waste water management system

Arrival in Bintan Island

    • Arrive in Singapore & Transfer to Bintan Island
    • Go on an Eco-tour of the Loola Camp, covering field of solar energy, rain water harvesting, eco-refrigeration and much more

Day 2-4

Community Immersive Project

    • Start with your initial planning of how to design your safe water garden (a UNICEF approved project)
    • Complete your project to ensure smooth running and test your garden
    • Spend the morning working on a manual work project in a local school/ community
    • Spend time exploring the culture of Bintan and local shopping

Adventure & Fun in Loola Eco Resort

  • Students will participate in a different activity

  • Take your flight back to UAE
